More of Sydney in Maui

Once again we took a walk on the beach.  The waves were big and the tide was high.  The tide was foamy and bubbly.  The water was brown because of the sand.  The waves were powerful.

After the day was done we ate supper at Bubba Gumps.  I got popcorn shrimp and it came with an orange, french fries and blue jello.  My brother got 1 1/3 pounds of Cajun shrimp.  He didn't eat it all.  We sat near a window and looked out at the water and I saw all kinds of fish.  One kind I saw was green with black stripes going down.  Another kind I saw was a peach colored one.  I saw one that was kind of orangish.  I also saw a really big one swimming fast out to sea.  And I saw one more.  It was kind of brown with black stripes.

On Sunday, we didn't go for a walk on the beach.  We went to a place to have brunch instead.  There was tons and tons of food.  There was breakfast kind of food, and lunch kind of food and dessert.  I ate a waffle with strawberry sauce, bacon, potatoes, part of an omelet, fresh fruit, and there was a chocolate fountain that I put a strawberry under.  My strawberry got stuck to the plate because of the chocolate.  There were also small pies that I ate.  Shaun tried an oyster.  He thought it was disgusting.

Me my mom and bother went on a 2 mile walk on the beach. We got soaking wet! We got to go swiming at the pool and the beach.We also took family pictures. Here are some.

Shaun's Maui Trip

When I got up it was 3:20 in the morning.My dad,mom,sister,and me had to take three air plane. On the first plane we had to wait because something was broken so we got there earlier.The second plane was just normal. On the last plane it took a long time it felt like we were going so slow and there was a delay.When we arrived I had to use the bathroom.

 Then we went to the car rental place and we got in line to rent a car then came a fight with some guy and my dad. My dad was defending my mom but it was kind of weird. After that we got to the car and put our luggage in the trunk. We took off to the hotel it took 20min to get there then we registered

Maui Vacation by Sydney

I got up at 3:20 a.m. on Wednesday. Our taxi got here at 4:15 am and took us to the airport.We took 3 planes to get to Maui. Des Moines to Denver to San Francisco to Maui.We landed in Maui at 6:15 pm Maui time. It took 16 hours to get there.

When we got there we ate at supper at Dukes to celebrate daddy's 50 th birthday. Then today we had breakfast and went grocery shopping, after a long walk on the beach. We swam at the pool twice.
